Blow out from Cashalote645 viewsI have just spent a couple of weeks on the Acores and here too been going Whale-watching in speedy rubber-boat on the ocean. It was quit a experience and as it followed the "Code of ethics for cetacean watching" so the distance is not closer than about 150 metres I have to crops some, also due to I couldn't zoom in more that around 200 mm to keep the whales in the viewfinder as the boat was jumping on the waves as keeping the speed of the whales. But I got this blow from the Cachalot whale.

Young African Elephant scratching its ear623 viewsYoung African Elephant scratching its ear. A funny situation I catch in Samburu in Kenya, where there were no time to do anything than shoot it. ;) (time to open aperture more or zoom more closely for smaller DOF).

I would have preferred a more blurred background, which could be done in PS but I normally don't change my photo of wildlife that much.
